I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where I still maintain a residence. My parents were performers (mom, a nightclub singer; dad, an acrobat) who met while touring with the USO during WWII. Dad, who has since passed away, spent the latter part of his life working at the L.A. Times. Now in her 80s, mom still manages the library at a local elementary school. My older brother and his wife are also librarians.

I'm a graduate of Hollywood High Alternative School, which no longer exists due to budget cuts by Ronald Reagan. I joined the workforce at age 18 as a Reader to the Blind (part of LAUSD's mainstreaming efforts back in the late 70s) and went on to work in music recording, motion picture advertising, feature films, and television.

I met my ex-husband on the set of 20th Century-Fox's "Bachelor Party" in the summer of '83. We produced a great kid who just finished up his senior year of high school. Bradford and I still maintain a close, loving relationship.

Long term goals mostly have to do with world affairs. I'd like to see earth regain its equilibrium - I believe a little less aggression would be beneficial to everyone's psyche. As Elvis Costello said, "What's so funny about peace, love, and understanding?"
